Applicate Features - special consideration
Some features of the app are used in special circumstances.
Once
Use the repeat "once" to autogenerate the action once. This feature is available in the Edit View. When tapped a yellow fill appears on the complete item checkbox. When you tap the check box the action is marked complete and a new action is generated with the same title with a date equal to the next day. In the list view increment to the next day to view the action. One example of its use is when you purchase an item on-line and wish to monitor it's delivery. In this example the action is ordering the item. When you repeat once the ordering is captured as complete. Increment to the next day to edit the order to match the date you expect it to arrive.
Notes
In the Edit view the notes field can be expanded by tapping in the edit field anywhere and typing a space. When just viewing tap the "x" so changes are not saved.
No Type
You can use the "no type" selection in the list view to in effect create a 2nd unique list. This works when you have on set of actions that all have Types and another with no types.
Exclude
The exclude feature can be handy to see a specific set of items. For example if a Birthday Type was created and say the set of birthdays occurred throughout the year. You could use the exclude feature to exclude all Types except birthdays. Then set the date range to all dates to view all birthdays.
